Embattled Farmers has received multiple book awards for the quality of research, originality of approach, and contribution to our understanding of the Revolutionary period.

Author Rick Wiggin accepts the Silver Winner award for Embattled Farmers at the IBPA 2014 Benjamin Franklin Awards Ceremony in New York.


Embattled Farmers
was recognized as a Finalist for the 2014 National Indie Excellence Award in the field of US History, demonstrating an “indefinable synergy of elements that makes for overall excellence.”
The Independent Book Publishers Association honored Embattled Farmers as a 2014 Benjamin Franklin Award Silver Winner in the History category.  The Benjamin Franklin Award recognizes excellence in both editorial and design, and is regarded as one of the highest national honors in small and independent publishing.
